Introducing Voight Labs
Why we started a boutique engineering studio for machine learning, web platforms, and hardware-software systems — and what we actually do for clients.
Most companies don't need another agency. They need a small team of senior engineers who can walk into a hard problem, design a real system, and ship it to production without a months-long ramp.
That's what Voight Labs is. A boutique technology consultancy built around a simple model: a lean core team of engineers — most of us with experience at leading Latin American technology companies — backed by a network of specialists we bring in for specific project needs.
What we work on
We take on technical work in four areas:
- Machine learning and data science — forecasting, prediction, computer vision, recommendation, MLOps. Models that have to run in production, not in a notebook.
- Web development — operational dashboards, internal tooling, and client-facing platforms. Type-safe, tested, and maintainable.
- Hardware-software integration — embedded systems and the software stack around them. Firmware, edge inference, device-to-cloud telemetry.
- Custom engineering — the problems that don't fit a category. We assemble the right team and build what's needed.
How we work
We run lean on purpose. The people on the discovery call are the people writing the code. We work in short cycles, push to production early, and iterate against real signal.
We're not the right partner for every project. If a problem is the wrong shape for us, we'll say so — and we'd rather pass on work than take on a project we can't do well.
Why we're writing
This blog is where we'll write about the work — what we ship, what we learn, and what we think is worth saying out loud. Expect concrete posts about machine learning in production, the engineering studio model, and the realities of consulting on technical implementation.
If you're building something hard and want to talk, get in touch.
